Here's a seasonal tip that can help save the environment!
Scraping frost and ice off a frozen windscreen isn't the best way to start your day - and many de-icing fluids contain harmful chemicals. But you can prevent frost from forming on your windscreen in the first place.
Just put a couple of sheets of newspaper - or carpet - onto your windscreen at night.
With some cars you can secure the newspaper underneath the windscreen wipers by switching off your ignition mid wipe cycle.
In the morning, peel off the paper and you should find that your windscreen is clear enough to see through without any of that scraping nonsense! |
