Emergency school website rebuild in just a week!
When New North Academy’s website stopped working, they just couldn’t get hold of the designer to put it right. The website had just disappeared off the internet – as if it had never been there.
They e-mailed, and they phoned the website designer, but it was radio silence. “We still haven’t worked out if the company has gone out of business, or changed it’s name, or just lost interest in providing support,” they told us later.
Not having a school website is a cardinal sin. All schools are required to publish “specified information” by law. The inspectors can use the lack of information on a website as an excuse for an unannounced inspection.
New North Academy got in touch with The Mustard Agency – because they knew we build websites for schools.
From signature of contracts through to publication of the new website was just 7 days!
Paul Sample, from The Mustard Agency, said: “We pulled out all of the stops to get a new website up and running for them. The website is designed in WordPress, so the staff can update and amend the content at any time.”
“A 7 day turn around is not unusual for us. An average school website normally takes 3 – 4 weeks, depending on the time of year.”
